GBP 英鎊–英鎊高位回調，關注英倫銀行議息
官方數據顯示，英國8月份通脹率維持在3.8%，仍是主要發達經濟體中最高的，這突顯出為什麼投資者認為英倫銀行今年不太可能再次降息。高通脹對英國政府和英倫銀行來說都是一個問題。英國財相李韻晴 (Rachel Reeves)上周表示，政府應該把重點放在幫助央行降低通脹和促進經濟增長上面。英國國家統計局周三表示，英倫銀行密切關注的衡量國內物價壓力的指標--消費者服務通脹從8月份的5.0%放緩至4.7%。不包括能源、食品和煙草價格在內的核心通脹率從3.8%降至3.6%。
英倫銀行將於今晚公佈議息結果，預計將把指標利率維持在 4%不變。技術走勢而言，英鎊兌美元近月在三角區間運行，到上周終作初步突破頂部；加上，RSI及隨機指數仍然上行，可望英鎊仍有進一步上行傾向。延伸阻力先看1.36，之前在7月23日及24日同樣也是在此關口受阻；故此，再而闖過此區將更為鞏固英鎊強勢，其後將參考1.37及7月1日高位1.3788，下一級料會直指1.40關口。而較近支持位預估在1.35及1.3420，下一級參考1.3330及1.3280水準。
