英鎊稍告走穩，美國確診首例Omicron打壓美元
英鎊周四回穩，美國發現首例Omicron感染病例在隔夜拖累美元，但在英國央行是否會在本月加息的不確定性下，市場交投震盪。貨幣市場普遍缺乏方向，美元從2020年7月的高點進一步回落。由於南非的新冠每日感染量翻倍，嚴重變異的Omicron正迅速成為那里的主流新冠病毒。受此影響，市場交易出現波動。美國聯邦儲備理事會(FED)主席鮑威爾周三表示，他和美聯儲其他決策者將在12月14-15日的會議上考慮更快地縮減刺激措施。此舉被廣泛認為是為提前加息打開大門。但這一評論未能提振美元。英國國內，圍繞央行是否會加息的不確定性也限制了英鎊的漲幅。 英國央行在11月表示，未來幾個月可能不得不將利率從0.1%的歷史低點上調，但在發現新的新冠變體毒株後，政策制定者在這一前景上的分歧似乎越來越大。貨幣市場預計，到12月16日下次會議加息的幅度僅為8個基點，而上周初時預計為12個基點。
技術走勢而言，英鎊由去年9月低位1.2672升至今年6月高位1.4248，累計升幅近1570點，隨後迎來一浪下跌至今，同時匯價亦受壓於一眾中短期平均線，預料英鎊兌美元跌勢仍告持續。估計其後下試目標可參考200周平均線1.3155及1.30關口，下一級指向1.2850。阻力位回看1.34及1.3520水準，關鍵看至1.3710水平，此區為延伸自著自六月的下降趨向線，亦即匯價於後市需越過此區，才可望在技術上扭轉這波跌勢。
預估波幅：
阻力 1.3400 – 1.3520* - 1.3710*
支持 1.3155 – 1.3000* - 1.2850
