本周整體匯市頗為動蕩，在Omicron變種毒株不確性揮之不去之際，市場人士在評估美國聯邦儲備理事會(FED)鷹派立場更加堅定的相關風險。儘管全球各國迅速收緊邊境管制，但Omicron已迅速蔓延至澳洲、英國、日本和美國等地。該變體的傳染性可能明顯高於以往的變種，有可能扼殺剛剛起步的全球復甦。在此背景下，美聯儲主席鮑威爾在周三向國會作證的第二天重申，他和其他決策者將在12月14-15日的會議上考慮加快縮減刺激措施的步伐，這可能為提前加息敞開大門。
紐元兌美元方面，技術圖表所見，紐元兌美元於10月21日觸高至0.7219，10月28日高見0.7217，其後走勢呈逐步走低，隨著RSI及隨機指數已呈走低，而匯價亦持續受壓於中短期平均線，預料紐元兌美元仍有下試壓力。由八月至今紐元走勢已形成一組雙頂型態，而9月底低位0.6860視為一頸線位置，目前紐元仍居於此區下方，亦更深化了紐元的弱勢發展。下一級支撐看至0.6770水準，較大支持料0.66以至0.65水準。至於上方阻力預估為0.6860及0.69，下一級將參考25天平均線0.7010。
預估波幅：
阻力 0.6860 - 0.6900 - 0.7010
支持 0.6770 - 0.6600 – 0.6500
